Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy Statement

Purpose

    The purpose of this Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy Statement ("Policy Statement") is to communicate MYDATA Infomatica’s commitment to preventing any form of bribery or corruption, and to outline the fundamental principles that guide our business conduct and dealings. It serves as a public statement of our commitment and is not intended to constitute or set out the full extent of our relevant internal policies, procedures, controls or guidelines.

Our Commitment

    The conduct of our business and dealings is deeply rooted with integrity, accountability and compliance. MYDATA Infomatica adopts a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms of bribery and corruption and are committed to upholding the highest standard of governance and ethical business conduct.

    As a licensed Credit Reporting Agency, we recognise the trust placed by our customers, business partners, regulators and stakeholders. This shared commitment is thus equally applicable across our shareholders, board of directors, employees, business associates, subscribers and any other persons acting for or on behalf of us.

    This Policy Statement is prepared in compliance with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (Amendment Acts included) and all other applicable laws and regulations.

Prohibition Against Bribery and Corruption

MYDATA Infomatica adopts a zero-tolerance approach towards bribery and corruption in all forms, whether committed directly or indirectly through any third party. We prohibit the offering, promising, giving, soliciting or accepting of any bribe or other improper advantage intended to influence a business decision or obtain an undue benefit.

Our commitment extends to key areas of business conduct, including:

  1. gift and hospitality;
  2. entertainment;
  3. corporate social responsibility initiatives, donations and sponsorships;
  4. political contributions; and
  5. dealing with contractors, suppliers, vendors, consultants, business partners and other third parties.

All persons acting for or on behalf of MYDATA Infomatica, including business associates, are expected to conduct business with integrity, avoid conflicts of interest and comply with this Policy Statement, MYDATA Infomatica’s ABAC policies and procedures (where applicable) and relevant laws.

Reporting

Should you have any knowledge of, or reasonably suspects, any actual or attempted act of bribery, corruption or unethical conduct or violation of the above principles, you may report the matter in good faith via any of MYDATA Infomatica's whistleblowing channels as follows:

All reports would be treated with confidence, investigated appropriately and the whistleblower’s identity would be protected against retaliation as reasonably practicable.
